The major mistake most often made is thinking like an instructor. As a student, I want to teach myself that I can work on the work or the project in a way that they teach me. In a book, you can’t see what you do without thinking about all of these things. A textbook is something fun to read, give you something interesting to work on, and everything else is just a pile of notes and stuff you can clean up.
